Charles County Dive Rescue is saddened to announce the passing of long-term member, Michael Hickman.

Mike was an integral part of Charles County Dive Rescue, joining the team in the early 90's.

He served in many roles in the organization, to include captain. Mike was an accomplished diver who assisted on many recoveries and made a very believable swamp monster at Vampire Manor.

Mike is survived by his wife Wanda, and his three children, Starlyn, Nicholas and Ryan.

Services will be held at 8170 Marshall Corner Rd Pomfret Md, Station 13, on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at 10am.

We will proceed from Company 13 units to Heritage Memorial Cemetery at 13472 Poplar Hill Rd Md. Once the service is completed, there will be a repass at Company 13.
