🚒🚑 FIRST RESPONDERS APPRECIATION DAY — PUBLIC SAFETY WORKING TOGETHER 🚓

The Charles County Board of County Commissioners recognized First Responders Appreciation Day and took the opportunity to honor public safety personnel whose actions demonstrated exactly what teamwork and service to our community are all about.
During a recent fire at Sagepoint Senior Living Services, law enforcement and other public safety personnel worked side-by-side with Charles County Fire and EMS personnel, assisting with the sheltering, protection, and care of senior residents displaced during the emergency.

When an incident involves some of the most vulnerable members of our community, every helping hand matters. The response at Sagepoint was a tremendous example of agencies coming together with one common mission — protecting lives and taking care of our citizens.

The Charles County Volunteer Firemen’s Association and Charles County Association of Emergency Medical Services congratulate all of those recognized by the County Commissioners and extend our sincere appreciation to all first responders throughout Charles County — Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Emergency Communications, Emergency Management, and our many public safety partners.

Different uniforms. Different responsibilities. One mission: serving Charles County.

Thank you to the Charles County Board of County Commissioners for recognizing the dedication, professionalism, and teamwork of our First Responders.
