| Fire prevention starts in our neighborhoods — one home at a time. This morning, a longtime volunteer member and his crew from the Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department were out in the community installing smoke alarms and helping ensure residents have the early warning they need should a fire occur. Working smoke alarms save lives. They provide those critical extra moments to get you and your family safely out of your home when a fire occurs. 🏠 Take a few minutes today to check your home. Test your smoke alarms, make sure you have alarms on every level and near sleeping areas, and replace alarms that are 10 years old or older. NEED SMOKE ALARMS? If you are a Charles County homeowner in need of smoke alarms, we want to hear from you. 📧 Email: fireprevention@ccvfireems.org Our volunteers are committed not only to responding when an emergency occurs, but also to working throughout our communities to help prevent tragedies before they happen. 🔥 Protect your home. Protect your family. Make sure your smoke alarms are working today. #SmokeAlarmsSaveLives #CharlesCountyFireEMS #FirePrevention #PotomacHeightsVFD #VolunteerFireEMS #CommunitySafety See less |
