| On Friday, May 22, 2026, Charles County High School Fire Rescue Cadet Classes 29 and 30 held their 30th Annual Dinner and Awards Banquet at the Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. Parents, grandparents, fire and EMS department leaders, and community supporters attended the event, along with Charles County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Maria Navarro and members of the Board of Education.
The keynote address was delivered by Cadet Class 2 graduate and D.C. Fire Department Deputy Chief Ryan Pagel. His remarks were well received and provided inspiration, encouragement, and wisdom to those in attendance.
After a dinner hosted by the Potomac Heights Auxiliary, awards were presented to cadets in recognition of their hard work, dedication, and achievements throughout the year. A complete list of award recipients will be posted at a later date.
