| Fire units from Waldorf and neighboring departments responded to the 4400 block of White Plain Lane for a report of a car on fire inside a garage at 3:00 PM today. Engine 11, Engine 33, and Battalion Chief 3 arrived within minutes of the dispatch, finding no visible signs of fire from any side of the structure. Battalion Chief 3 established command at the scene. Engine 11 confirmed that the fire appeared to be extinguished and inspected the drop ceiling above for any extension. Engine 33 checked nearby areas for possible exposure to the fire. Command directed all additional units to remain on standby on Theodore Green Boulevard. Crews confirmed that the fire was fully out, with only minor smoke present. Natural ventilation was used, and command continued holding Engine 11 and Engine 33 at the scene. |
