At about 10:30 PM Fire/EMS were alerted for a first due house fire in the 6700 block of McCormick Drive,

Bryans Road volunteers and surrounding departments responded bringing 44 Fire/EMS personnel to the scene.

CH11B arrived in minutes confirming a "fire in the garage" and began assigning units as they arrived. CH11A was assigned "Division One" and went to work assisting E112. Crews worked together bringing this fire under control in just minutes.

Fire originated in the garage, a side wall sprinkler activated at the garage/kitchen entrance keeping the flames in check.

Red Cross assisting home owner and her pets

No reported injuries, Fire Marshal's Office on scene, fire remains under investigation.
