At approx.11:32 AM today, units responded to the 5800 block of Oak Forest Court for a report of smoke in the basement after a loud "pop."

Crews arrived to find light smoke showing from a two-story home with a walkout basement.

The fire, traced to a fish tank in the basement, was quickly contained within minutes.

All occupants evacuated safely. One adult and one toddler were evaluated on scene as a precaution.

Power was secured to the affected area. Units cleared the scene shortly after noon. No injuries reported.
