At 2356 hours, units from Charles County and mutual aid companies from Calvert and St. Mary's were alerted for the reported house on fire. Initial reports advised of a working fire.

Units from Hughesville #2 arrived to find a working fire in a one story single family residence and went to work.

The truck companies opened up and overhauled the structure and the assignment was scaled back to the units from Charles Station 2, Engines 21, 24 and Truck Company 3.

Units operated for approximately two hours.
