A total of 41 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene from Charles and Prince Georges County. Truck #1 arrived in minutes confirming the 2 story single family home well involved, defensive operations only. Units checked with family to confirm all family members were accounted for; additional large diameter hand lines were placed in service and structure was surrounded by a steady water relay from the street. Water Supply was assigned to BC11B (McCormick) Approximately one hour into the incident, command reports "units continue in a defensive mode" extinguishing "hot spot" areas of the remaining structure, all units operating were ok.
