57 Firefighters Respond to Reported House on Fire

Tenth District Volunteers along with surrounding fire departments in Charles County responded to a "house on fire" in the 6000 block of Ripley Way in Marbury. Minutes after dispatch, E83 arrived on scene, reported smoke showing and conducting the 360. Chief 8 (Hudson) arrived the scene, established command, ordered the water supply site at the Armory at Hawthorne and Route 301, Chief 10 (Hammett) water supply officer. Chief 8A arrived and was assigned "division one", reporting a fire in the attic, getting to the fire, E72 and T1 inside to assist for overhaul. Searches complete, all occupants accounted for, fire is out. B/C 20 was Safety Officer, Command holding units from Tenth District, T11, Red Cross notified to assist family, Fire Marshal's Office notified. No injuries were reported.
