at 7:45 A.M. this morning our 911 dispatch center received a call from the homeowner reporting the "rear of the house was on fire" in the unit block of Greystone Circle in St. Charles community of Waldorf. The structure fire assignment was dispatched bringing the Waldorf Volunteers and surrounding departments to the location. E31 arrived in minutes, with a two-story structure, "smoke showing" requesting the "working fire" upgrade. B/Chief 1A (Ianeiro) arrived and established command. E31 provided a "CAN Report" to Command, fire on rear of home with extension to an enclosed addition to the rear. Command assigned T1, SQ2 E121 to work with E31, remaining units "level one". Working fire upgrade was cancelled, fire out, no injuries, power secured by SMECO. Fire Marshal Office on scene for their investigation. Units returned for service within the hour
