Unfortunately we must report in a nearby jurisdiction a fatality has occurred due to a running portable generator in the home. While investigation is still ongoing, it appears that since firefighters found a running generator the cause could be a CO poisoning. PLEASE, all homeowners, no matter the reason, DO NOT RUN YOUR PORTABLE GENERATOR inside your home, on your deck, or in your garage.
