Early Morning Small Fire in the Bannister Community |

Waldorf Volunteers and surrounding departments with staffing of 37 personnel were alerted for "smoke in the house" in the 1100 Block of Bannister Circle just after 1:30 this morning. Waldorf E31 arrived with smoke showing from all sides of a 2 story frame home. A fire was located in a utility room on Division 1 with moderate extension into Division 2 and burning between the floors. 2 lines were stretched with one being placed in service quickly extinguishing the fire and the assignment was held to E31, E121, SQ2. E31(LT Rose) held the command until the arrival of Chief 12A and units cleared just over an hour later. No injuries were reported, Fire Marshals Office notified Photos courtesy of LT James Rose |
