Large Excavator and Wood Pile on Fire in Waldorf

Fire units from Waldorf and surrounding tankers from Charles County and PGFD are on the scene of a stubborn wood pile at the end of Mill Hill Road in Waldorf. Large Excavator and large piles of lumber were involved upon arrival of E121, E33, TW3. Chief 3 assumed "Command" and began "water shuttle operations" using tankers to supply water to the fire ground. No injuries were reported, Fire Marshals Office notified, Forestry also notified for dozer use. Units operated for approximately 3 1/2 hours
