Please Un-plug any accessory chargers you have in your vehicles while you’re not operating said vehicle. Over the weekend we had an incident with one of our patrol vehicles, where it appears that a cell phone charger was left plugged in to a constant power supply for an extended period of time. These chargers will continue to send electricity though the tip of the cord, and if the right conditions exist, can and did create a fire. Attached are photos of the damage caused by the fire…….
