The Charles County High School Fire-Rescue Cadet Program celebrated 25 years of educational excellence with a dinner/awards ceremony held at the Newburg Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department. 120 people including 15 cadets, their families, numerous members from area Fire/EMS jurisdictions, Board of Education, University of MD Fire Rescue Institute and MD Training Commission all enjoyed a wonderful event in spite of the challenges throughout the year with the COVID pandemic. We salute everyone involved in making this night a memorable one and we pray our cadets move on with honor, dignity, and confidence that got them here tonight.
