Cobb Island Volunteers and surrounding departments responded to the marina behind Charlie's Restaurant at 6:35 am this morning and found a 25' boat "fully involved". Chief 6A (Higgs) arrived with RE6, ETA6, and began the extinguishment. Within minutes as additional units responding "Command" requested all remaining units to stage at Captain John's Restaurant. Fire was out in 15 minutes, overhaul process is underway, holding the scene with all Company #6 units, remaining units were placed in service. 45 Fire and EMS responded to the scene including mutual aide from NDW Dahlgren, St. Mary's and King George County. DNR and Office of the State Fire Marshal's Office were notified, no juries reported.
