Recreational Vehicles Destroyed by Fire

Just after 11:15 a.m. Newburg Volunteers and surrounding departments were called to Aqualand Marina at 9610 Orland Park Road for what the caller stated, "his motor home was on fire". 41 Fire/EMS personnel responded to the incident. E143 arrived within minutes, reported "a small RV with heavy thick black smoke, passing command". Chief 10A (Frye) arrived, established command and assigned incoming units their assignment. Chief 1A (Sekuterski) arrived as "operations". Moments later, "operations" advised fire knocked down, command advised remaining responding units to "stage" at the entrance. Just after one hour, units returned to service, no injuries reported, Fire Marshal's Office was notified
