During the 6 o'clock dinner hour volunteers from Waldorf and surrounding departments went to the 1300 blk Greenmont Drive. E31 reported on the scene with "heavy fire through the roof" and went to work stretching hose lines to the second floor. Tower #3 arrived with E121 beginning searches and back up lines. T11 reported to the fire floor to assist. Command was established by B/Chief 3B (Keenan) and assignments were given to on scene units. Fire Marshal's Office notified, Red Cross called to assist the family, no injuries reported. Special thanks to Waldorf Auxiliary for the much appreciated rehab supplies.
