On the morning of January 7, 2021 hundreds of fire, EMS and military personnel attended the untimely funeral for Brother Bryan Hammy Hamilton where he "laid in state" in the apparatus room of his second home. After many heart-felt speeches, presentations and remembrances of Hammy members departed the Bryans Road Volunteer fire house for the escorted final ride to Hammy's resting place at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf. While many people were in attendance, social distancing was strictly enforced with all personnel wearing N95 protective masks and using hand sanitizer. On behalf of the officers and members of the fire and EMS associations, we salute NDW Fire and EMS, Bryans Road VFD, and Waldorf VFD for the professional and overwhelming job done for this unfortunate ceremony.

Special thanks to the "fill-in" crews and all departments that covered intersections. And finally, thank you CCSO for all your assistance with the escort....
