Waldorf Volunteers and Surrounding Departments Answer The Call

45 fire and EMS members responded to a "reported house on fire with someone possibly trapped" in the 2600 blk of Pebblebrook Terrace in the Stream-Vista sub-division of Waldorf. Engine 31 and County Fire Chief Kaufmann arrived in the scene in minutes confirming "heavy fire conditions" on the second floor and requested the "working fire dispatch". County Chief Kaufmann established "command" fire-ground assignments were passed on to incoming units, an aggressive attack completed by E31 and RE121 with St. Mary's Truck #3 assisting. The primary and secondary search of the dwelling indicated no one was found inside, fire was out in approximately 10 minutes. Fire Marshall's Office o/s conducting an investigation, family being taking care of by the Red Cross. No injuries were reported
