In mid December the Charles County Fire and EMS Association Volunteers partnered with the Southern Maryland Food Bank and Charles County Fair Board to present to the community a wonderful holiday event shared throughout and viewed by thousands. Despite the rainy Friday and Saturday, we are so happy that our citizens from across the region were in attendance and we want to pay a special thanks for the all vendors on hand that provided their crafts. Great job by everyone who made this annual event possible. As a result of the proceeds from the admissions by our public, the Fire and EMS Volunteers were presented with a check totaling $7,035.64 by Fair Board Member Charlie Gardiner during the Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony on January 3rd. These funds will be used to further advance our mission and operational functions throughout the county. We thank everyone for their attendance and partnership with the Food Bank and Fair-board.
