Last evening BRVFD honored Mr. Elvan Hedges for 69 years of continuous and distinguished service to the department and citizens of Charles County. On behalf of all volunteer fire and EMS departments we say "Thank you Mr. Hedges" for all you do serving your department and community. Also on hand, Mr. Brian Klaas and Mr. Gilbert Bowling who both congratulated Mr. Hedges and BRVFD on the 99% successful fire responses in their community. We thank Mr. Klaas and Mr. Bowling for their complete support of the volunteer fire and EMS in our county.
